Laser cutting
We cut sheet with a fiber laser along the contours you draw. When you upload a DXF, the system reads the cut length, the number of holes and the outer size of the part, and the price is calculated from these.

The price has four parts: material, cutting time, pierces and setup. Material is the weight from the part's outer size and the chosen thickness, plus a scrap allowance. Cutting time is the total cut length divided by the cutting speed for that thickness.
The laser starts each closed contour separately, so every hole adds a pierce charge. Setup is charged once per line, so its share per part falls as quantity rises. 20% VAT is added.
Material, thickness and file
We cut cold-rolled (DKP), galvanized, stainless (304) and aluminum (5754) sheet. The largest sheet is 3000 × 1500 mm.
Send a DXF at 1:1 scale in millimeters with closed contours. Dimensions, text and frames are not cut. You can also attach a PDF drawing; it is for reference only and the price comes from the DXF.
- Cut length includes arcs and circles
- Each closed contour counts as one pierce
- Open contours or parts larger than the sheet go to engineering review
Domande
What if my DXF has an open contour?
No automatic price is written; the line goes to engineering review and we get back to you.
Can you bend the cut part?
Yes. Add a press brake line to the same quote and enter the bend count.
Does the PDF drawing change the price?
No. The PDF is for reference and is reviewed by our engineers. The price comes from the DXF.
