About this part

A desktop, gear-driven orrery that shows the motion of the planets when you turn the crank. It’s designed for education and as a decorative piece. The planets are not to scale; the base features embossed ratios of planet sizes relative to the Sun. The base also works as a storage box for the planets. - Variants: Standard (~300 g PETG), Large (~1318 g PETG) - Color is selected during checkout. - Part dimensions (please compare with your space before ordering): • Standard: largest part 161.9 × 167.0 × 7.4 mm; tallest single part height 166.2 mm • Large: large parts 179.8 × 178.0 × 13.3 mm and 789.7 × 179.8 × 51.0 mm (longest part length 789.7 mm) We recommend checking these dimensions with your setup before purchase. Manufactured by Eksenix using PETG via FDM 3D printing (color selectable).
