Design of obsolete parts
A part whose maker closed, whose stock ran out or which broke should not stop the machine. We redesign the missing part for the place it works in, its load and its material, and make it ready for production.

After model approval, the part is produced in our own shop: FDM or CNC machining for plastic, CNC turning or milling for metal. That way no dimension is lost between design and production; a misfit shows on the first part and the model is corrected.
Stage 1
Where the design starts
With a sample at hand we start from scanning and measurement; without one, from the dimensions and photos of the place the part works in. What the part does, what it mounts to and what load it carries are settled before the model.
The result does not have to be an exact copy of the old part. We draw a part that fits the same place, does the same job and can be produced today. If the material is unavailable, we propose its equivalent.

Questions
There is no sample, only photos. Does it work?
With the mounting dimensions and photos from a few angles, most parts can be rebuilt. If a critical dimension is missing, we ask you for it.
Is the design file mine?
Yes. The agreed CAD model and technical drawing are delivered to you and used directly for repeat production.
Can I buy design only?
Yes. If production happens elsewhere, we deliver the file production-ready as STEP and drawing.
