What is industrial 3D printing?

Industrial 3D printing is not a display model. The part needs a job, a repeatable process and a file you can still find later. The process eksenix.com prices today is FDM: thermoplastic filament, a nozzle, layers and infill.

FDM can trial fixtures, covers, ducts and lightly loaded clips. Layer lines stay visible. Claims such as pressure vessels, food contact or flame ratings need a separate check. We do not attach those claims to a material name automatically.

SLA, SLS and MJF stay in the catalogue, switched off, and they are not advertised. They cannot be quoted until an admin enables them. Pricing a switched-off process would be selling a machine we did not switch on.

The original STL is kept. A broken mesh does not receive an exact price. A part that fits the printer in no orientation is not auto-priced. The default envelope is 800 × 800 × 1000 mm; X and Y can swap, and Z is the height. The machine record holds the numbers.
